Sponsorship Program
Our primary mission is to help all our Chinese speaking students to achieve basic Australian English proficiency within 3 months. We achieve this by a combination of written learning material, Australian English audio material, and a highly focussed, 3-month, one-on-one online tutoring program.
Our secondary goal is to help as many Chinese youth as possible to get started on their personal journey towards learning to communicate confidently in English. The first few chapters of our course material are available to read and listen to on our website. In addition to this we have uploaded numerous samples of the course material to YouTube and a number of other online platforms. Our free introductory learning material is a perfect way to introduce Chinese youth to Australian English, and also allows them to make an informed choice about whether they would like to commit to our 3-month course.
Our sponsorship program
To further assist Chinese youth with getting started on their Australian English journey, we have put in place a special, limited sponsorship program. Successful applicants will receive (at no cost to the sponsee):
- A complete copy of the written course material – Emma and Lucas – A Journey to Australia
- 12 months unlimited access to the course audio material
- 16 x one-on-one English tutoring sessions delivered over 4 weeks.
Who can apply?
In order to to be eligible to apply for our sponsorship program you need to meet ALL of the below criterea:
- Native speaking Chinese (course material is translated into Mandarin)
- Aged 18 – 30 years old
- Fast, reliable internet connection (for video calls)
- Willing to commit to up to 1 hour self-study per day, for 4 weeks.
