Overview of definitions
In the below information
- “We”, “Us” and “Our” refers to Reality English Coaching and any person or entity specifically authorised to act on our behalf.
- Our “Website” refers to www.realityenglishcoaching.com.au
- “You”, “Your” and “Customer” refers to the person who will place or has placed the order via our website.
- “Business Days” means Monday through to and including Friday, excluding New South Wales public holidays.
- “Default Coaching Schedule” refers to the days and commencement time(s) we and you have agreed to schedule your coaching sessions on each week – (for example, 2.30pm Sydney time, each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, for 13 weeks).
- “Course” refers collectively to the (1) Written material (2) Audio material (3) Coaching sessions which the Reality English Coaching course program is comprised of.
Identification of customer
Unless otherwise advised and acknowledged in writing between us and you, we reserve the right to assume that the customer named in your order confirmation is:
- The person placing and paying for the course, AND
- The person who will participate in the course.
Refund policy
Reality English Coaching’s concept, course structure and self-study requirements are clearly outlined on our website. You are not entitled to a refund simply because you change your mind, or because your personal priorities or circumstances have changed. You are not entitled to a refund due to any factual, technical, spelling, grammatical, quality or formatting errors in the course material or communication, or due to any other issue, providing any such errors or issues have no significant impact on our overall ability to deliver the course to you.
You are entitled to request a FULL refund in the following exceptional circumstances, specifically if all/any of the following apply:
(1) We are unable to send the core course material (or a download link to this material) to your email address within three (3) business days of your order being completed (it is your responsibility to have a working email address and reliable internet, in order to enable you to download the course material, to participate in live video coaching sessions over the internet, and to communicate with us prior to and during your course);
(2) Due to an administrative and/or communications error on our part, we are unable to confirm within two (2) business days of you completing your order, the scheduling of your coaching sessions as per the Default Coaching Schedule already agreed with you in writing.
We may, at our sole discretion, agree to offer you a PARTIAL refund if for any reason, we deem that we have been or are unable to fully deliver the course as per the relevant product description on our website, and as per the Default Coaching Schedule (after allowing for reasonable delays).
Allowance for reasonable delays
The Default Coaching Schedule is 4 sessions per week, over a total of 13 weeks. Since these dates and time slots, (and your dedicated coach) have been reserved exclusively for you, we have no guarantee of being able to replace with other students any coaching sessions which you may be unable to attend. For this reason, we are unable to guarantee credits or refunds for coaching sessions which are missed (unattended) by you. However we may in certain circumstances, and at our sole discretion, offer you replacement coaching sessions at no further cost to you, to enable you to obtain the maximum benefit from our unique course program.
If for any reason we need to cancel a coaching session, then we will automatically extend your course on a like-for-like basis, at no extra cost to you. If, due solely to cancellations by us, your course is delayed by more than two (2) weeks, i.e. eight (8) coaching sessions, then you have the option to conclude your course participation as per the end of the original Default Coaching Schedule, and to request a pro-rata discount for the overall reduction in the live-coaching component of your course.
Processing of any refund
If you are approved for a refund, then your refund will be processed within three (3) business days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card provider, noting that it may take some time before your refund becomes visible on your credit card statement. You may also need to contact your bank, however note that there is often some processing time before a refund is posted to your account.

Following receipt of your email we will investigate the transaction internally. If the refund has not been successfully processed from our end, then we will notify you of this, and will attempt to re-process the refund. If the refund has been successfully processed at our end, then we will send you evidence of this via email, which you may show to your credit card provider and/or your bank.

退款政策
Reality English Coaching’s 的课程理念、结构与自学要求均已在我们的网站上清楚说明。若您因改变主意或个人优先事项、情况改变,您无权要求退款。若课程内容或沟通中存在事实、技术、拼写、语法、质量或格式错误,但这些问题并未显著影响我们向您提供课程的整体能力,您也无权要求退款。
在以下特殊情况下,若符合全部/任意一项,您有权申请全额退款:
(1) 若在您完成订单后三(3)个工作日内,我们无法将核心课程材料(或下载链接)发送至您的邮箱(您需确保有有效邮箱和可靠网络,以下载课程、参加线上辅导并进行沟通);
(2) 因我们行政或沟通错误,未能在您下单后两(2)个工作日内,按照已书面确认的默认辅导时间表与您核实辅导课程安排。
若我们认为由于某些原因无法按照网站产品描述与默认辅导时间表(在允许的合理延迟范围内)完整提供课程,我们可自行决定是否向您提供部分退款。
合理延迟的处理方式
默认辅导时间表为每周 4 次课程,共 13 周。因这些日期、时间段(以及您的专属教练)均为您专门预留,我们无法保证能为您补上因您缺席而错过的课程。因此,您缺席的辅导课程我们不保证提供补课或退款。但在某些情况下,我们可自行决定免费为您补课,以确保您从课程中获得最大收益。
若因我们单方面原因取消课程,我们会为您按等量时间延长课程而不另收费。若因我们取消课程造成您的课程延迟超过两(2)周(即 8 次辅导课程),您可选择按照原默认辅导时间表结束课程,并申请按比例扣减的费用补偿。
退款处理流程
若您的退款申请被批准,我们将在三(3)个工作日内处理退款,并将金额退回至您的信用卡或原付款方式。若尚未收到退款,请先再次检查银行账户。若无结果,请联系您的信用卡发卡机构,因为退款显示到信用卡账单可能需要时间。您也可能需要联系银行,因为退款入账通常也需要一定处理时间。
若您完成以上步骤仍未收到退款,请发送邮件至 [email protected]
我们收到您的邮件后会进行内部调查。若退款尚未从我们这边成功处理,我们会通知您并重新尝试处理退款。若退款已成功从我们这边处理,我们会通过邮件向您提供证明,以便您提交给信用卡机构或银行查核。
