Combined, the story content will introduce you to well over one thousand of the most important and commonly used words in the English language, as well as many common Australian expressions. The story includes interesting factual information, practical experiences, emotional interactions, light-hearted dialogue and value-based themes. It provides opportunities for learning and reflection, as well as for interesting and thought-provoking discussion.

The story is written almost exclusively in the present tense, giving you a sense that you are following along on our characters’ journey in real time, and maximising the repetition of the common, present-tense words which dominate ordinary English conversation.
