我的名字是Edward，我是“Reality English Coaching”的创始人，也是《Emma and Lucas – A Journey to Australia》一书的作者。

Welcome!
My name’s Edward, and I’m the founder of Reality English Coaching, and the author of Emma and Lucas – A Journey to Australia.
I grew up in Melbourne, but have lived in Sydney for much of my adult life.
I don’t speak Chinese, but I have many friends in China, and I also have Chinese friends living in Australia and other parts of the world.
As you’re probably aware, English communication can prove to be a significant barrier for a young Chinese person who wants to study, work or travel in Australia or another English speaking country.
Our 3-month online course is specifically designed for Chinese speaking youth who are studying English as a foreign language, or who simply want to boost their practical, real-world English communication skills. The full course runs for 3 months, and includes a total of 52, one-on-one English coaching sessions conducted over video call. This “repeated exposure” in a safe and supportive environment is a tested and proven strategy for boosting English speaking confidence.
Between these sessions, you as a student need to be prepared to self-study between 15 – 60 minutes per day – we provide all the materials for this. The amount of self-study time is roughly determined by your level of English proficiency at the start of the course, and of course, how keen you are to improve your English communication skills. Emma and Lucas – A Journey to Australia is a fictional story about two Chinese twins, who travel to Australia on a working holiday. The story was written specifically to introduce our students to over 1,000 of the most commonly used words in the English language, as well as many commonly used Australian expressions. The audiobook is clearly narrated in natural Australian English, allowing you to listen, read and practice as much as you like between lessons.
Regardless of where your current level of English proficiency is at, you can be sure that you will be both challenged and rewarded by this course.
